Please take the time to read this. Everyone does think they know everything about candle burning but believe me following a few of the tricks will give you a longer enjoyment period.

Candle Burning Instructions

1. Never leave a burning candle unattended !
2. Keep away from children and pets.
3. Burn in a suitable candle holder and burn only on a heat resistant surface.
4. Keep WICK TRIMMED to 1/4" to prevent smoking and soot build up.
5. For container candles, DISCONTINUE burning when candle reaches 1/2" from bottom of container to prevent any possible breakage.
6. For pillar candles, hand form warm edges in toward center of candle for maximum wax usage.
7. For loaf candles, burn for a max of 2 hours at a time due to the shape of the candle to prevent spillage.
8. The first time you burn your candle is very important you are setting the melt pool. Burn candles 1 HOUR FOR EACH INCH OF IT'S DIAMETER to establish a good melt pool. This allows the flame time to melt the wax to the outer edge. Burning less time will cause the candle to core burn down the middle & shorten burn time and your candle will be like that the whole time. Example: a 3" wide candle should be burned for 3 hours at a time.
9. Use toe nail clippers to trim wicks in jars in which scissors won't fit.
10. Please be sure to remove all decorations off of candles before burning. Any type of a fabric ribbon, tags or any type of a added decoration.
11. Any EXCESS drippings break up and use in your WAX BURNER. Don't let any go to waist it is still all scented.
